SUMMER ROWING 2022
Are you looking to experience rowing for the first time or to improve upon your rowing skills? Students ages 12-18 can join us for two beautiful weeks on Cold Spring Harbor! This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced rowers to get ready for our upcoming Fall Season! Sign up for one or both weeks!
Summer 2022 Crew Registration:
Week 1: July 18th-22nd
Week 2: August 15-19th
Summer Crew will be held Monday through Friday 7 AM- 9:30 AM at Eagle Dock Beach.

PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT AND PHOTO RELEASE
As the parent/guardian of a rower: I acknowledge that I have reviewed the CSHRA’s Rules and Responsibilities and Parent/Rower Guide published on the team website, and agree to abide by the provisions of these documents. I expressly acknowledge my responsibility to help plan and run team regattas. I certify that my child has had a physical examination within the past 12 months and has been medically cleared to participate in the sport of rowing. I agree to immediately inform the coaching staff if my child’s medical condition changes. I understand that it is my responsibility to inform the coaching staff if my child has a medical condition that requires special medication (including, but not limited to inhalers) to be on hand at all times. In such instances, an Authorization of Medication must be obtained from the school nurse and submitted to the head coach. I acknowledge that rowing is a dangerous sport in which injury, including permanent disability, paralysis, and death may occur. I understand that a condition of participation on the crew team is that I join USRowing, and sign their waiver. I understand that this provides a broad release waiver of liability and covenant not to sue USRowing, CSHRA, and its officers, directors, and coaches, as well as any other persons who are involved in practices and regattas and other rowing-related activities from any liability for any damage or injury that may occur in connection with my child’s participation in the sport of rowing. As a rower: I acknowledge that I have reviewed the CSHRA’s Rules and Responsibilities and the Cold Spring Harbor High School Code of Conduct, and agree to abide by the provisions of these documents. I will attend the school sanctioned Code of Conduct meeting. Photo Release Waiver: I hereby grant permission to the Cold Spring Harbor Rowing Association and its officers, trustees, employees, agents, students, representatives, successors, licensees and assigns (hereinafter “CSHRA”) to photograph my image, likeness, or depiction and/or that of my minor child(ren) (if applicable). I hereby grant permission to the CSHRA to edit, crop, or retouch such photographs, and waive any right to inspect the final photographs. I hereby consent to and permit photographs of me and/or those of my minor child(ren) to be used by the CSHRA worldwide for any purpose, including educational and advertisement purposes, and in any medium, including print and electronic. I understand that the CSHRA may use such photographs with our without associating names, thereto. I further waive any claim for compensation of any kind for the CSHRA’s use or publication of photographs of me and/or those of my minor child(ren) (if applicable). I hereby fully and forever discharge and release the CSHRA from any claim for damages of any kind (including, but not limited to, invasion of privacy; defamation; false light or misappropriation of name, likeness or image) arising out of the use or publication of photographs of me and/or of those of my minor child(ren) (if applicable) by the CSHRA, and covenant and agree not to sue or otherwise initiate legal proceedings against the CSHRA for such use or publication on my own behalf or on behalf of my minor child(ren) (if applicable). All grants of permission and consent, and all covenants, agreements and understandings contained herein are irrevocable. I acknowledge and represent that I am 18 years of age or older, have read this entire document, that I understand its terms and provisions, and that I have signed it knowingly and voluntarily on behalf of myself and/or my minor child(ren).
